Dr. Dylan Frederickson is the Founder and CEO of Boulevard Veterinary, a leading independent, veterinarian-owned practice group based in Chicago. With over 15 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, he has a diverse background in large animal, emergency, and small animal care. Dr. Frederickson has successfully grown Boulevard Veterinary into one of Chicagoland's premier independent veterinary groups, now encompassing four award-winning full-service clinics.

As a member of Veterinary Study Groups, Inc. — the largest independent veterinary management network in the U.S. with over 1,000 privately owned practices — Dr. Frederickson is committed to fostering excellence in veterinary care and practice management.

Dr. Frederickson is committed to the professional development of his team, supporting their growth through tuition assistance, leadership development, and continuing education, while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture. He is eager to apply his experience in building strong veterinary teams to Veterinary Surgery of Chicago, ensuring that VSx patients, clients, and primary care veterinarians receive exceptional care at every level.

Dr. Frederickson holds a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Dr. Frederickson shares his life with his wife Kelly, their three young children and cat Smokey Panther.
