Chase Michalek is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a proven track record of building successful companies in the veterinary industry. Throughout his career, he has started and acquired numerous general and specialty practices nationwide, partnering closely with veterinarians and clinical teams to elevate the level of care and service provided to their communities.

Before co-founding VSx, Chase launched Family Vet Group (FVG), a modern network of animal hospitals known for its personalized, high quality, and tech-enabled care. Under his leadership, FVG grew to over 200 employees and became recognized for its culture of compassion, teamwork, and entrepreneurship. Chase's experience at FVG gave him a deep understanding of the challenges general practices face when patients require advanced surgical solutions.

Motivated to bridge this gap, Chase co-founded VSx with a vision to redefine specialty surgery services. By collaborating with top Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeons, VSx was designed to prioritize the trusted relationships between referring veterinarians and surgeons, ensuring better access to care and exceptional outcomes for patients.

Chase holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University. He recently relocated from Chicago to Nashville with his wife, Kathleen, their young children, and their beloved dog, Ryder. Outside of work, Chase finds joy in family adventures and cherishing the everyday moments of seeing the world through the eyes of his kids.
